The process of logging is an entrepreneurial activity associated with the cutting down of forest stands, their skidding, subsequent partial processing, storage and export of harvested wood from the forest. Most often, logging is carried out in operational and protective forests.
Logging can be carried out directly by the owner of the forest area (the so-called economic logging) or by the buyer who bought up the forest plot on the root.

Sawmilling - sawmilling production, production of sawn timber (beams and boards) from logs. Log processing is carried out at the sawmill, which includes sawmill and drying shops, warehouses of raw materials and lumber, as well as auxiliary shops.
The resulting lumber is sorted, packed in bags and transported to the lumber warehouse for atmospheric drying or to the drying shop for chamber drying.
